STATUE - OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE - 7.25" HIGH
In 1531, Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to a Mexican peasant named Juan Diego. She placed roses (it was winter) on his cloak, to take to the archbishop to convince him that her apparition was real. When Juan Diego opened his cloak (the tilma) in the presence of the archbishop, the roses fell out. Left behind on the flimsy garment was the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe that exists to this day - 489 years later. It is an incredible miracle!
