Sacramentals

Sacramentals are a great way to deepen your faith. The Catholic Dictionary defines sacramentals as "objects or actions that the Church uses . . in order to achieve through the merits of the faithful certain effects, mainly of spiritual nature. . .The variety of Sacramentals . . . draw not only on the personal dispositions of the individual but on the merits and prayers of the whole Mystical Body of Christ. " (Hardon, pg. 380) Sacramentals often give a physical aspect to help people engage their senses in prayer an devotions. A meaningful item to "cradle" Catholics, converts and reverts!
