Food for thought:
Only Saints enter heaven ... this doesn't mean you must be cannonized after you depart this world...it simple means that only purity can enter into the kingdom. See the Catechism below.

Catechism CCC 1023:
Those who die in God’s grace and friendship and are perfectly purified live forever with Christ. They are like God forever, for they see him as he is, face to face.
