OUR LADY OF GRACE - 8" STONE/RESIN - HUMMEL

Inspired by the famous original drawings by Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel O.S.F., a German nun, this lovely statue of Our Lady of Grace features elements found in Sister Hummel's works.

Sister Hummel and her convent struggled through the horrendous Nazi rule in WWII. She died in 1946 at the age of 37.
