MIRACULOUS MEDAL WITH MULTICOLOR CZ - GOLD/STERLING SILVER , 18" CHAIN

The image shown on the Miraculous Medal was revealed to St. Catherine Laboure` in 1830. Around the image of Our Lady of Grace, the medal reads, "O, Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee."

Originally known as the Immaculate Conception Medal, it became known as the Miraculous Medal because so many miracles were attributed to its wearing.
