Bracelet - St Benedict Crucifix/Medal - Brown Cord

The St. Benedict medal is a Christian sacramental medal created in 1880 to celebrate the 1400th birthday of St Benedict of Nursia, Italy. It is called the Jubilee Medal of St Benedict and it contains many symbols and text related to the how the medal should be used. The Jubilee medal of 1880 has proven to be the the most loved of any St Benedict medal and one of the most honored of medals,

The medal is a prayer of exorcism against Satan, a prayer for strength in time of temptation, a prayer for peace among ourselves and among the nations of the world, a prayer that the Cross of Christ be our light and guide, a prayer of firm rejection of all that is evil, a prayer of petition that we may with Christian courage "walk in God's ways, with the Gospel as our guide," as St. Benedict urges us.

This beautifully constructed, adjustable macrame bracelet features a St. Benedict medal inlaid behind the head of Jesus on a cross. Then the St Benedict medal/crucifix is inlaid in an exotic hardwood cross with a true olive wood finish. as its centerpiece. Another St. Benedict medal dangle is in the back.
