Evalyn is the second of three children. Her father, a trader, was killed in a motor accident. Evalyn’s mother died from cerebral malaria. Evalyn now lives with her aunt. Unfortunately, the aunt is physically disabled and cannot work. Therefore, she is unable to raise Evalyn.

Evalyn is a Roman Catholic. She does not suffer from any physical disabilities. Evalyn is a talented singer.
