Sunday is the youngest of two children. His father died in his sleep. His mother died from an illness. His mother and father were farmers in Ogoja. Sunday lives with his uncle who is a peasant farmer. Unfortunately, the crops from farming make it difficult for the uncle to feed the children.

Sunday is a Roman Catholic. He does not suffer from any physical disabilities. He loves to play soccer.
