E-mails Pour into Allstate over Firing

by Gospa Missions

A Sign of the Times

Many companies that we know and love are doing things that we need to take a serious look at.   Today, most big corporations are waging war on the teachings of God and those who follow His Commandments by giving big money to "gay rights" organizations.  Not a godly thing to do.

Our Lord told us that it is a sin for us to do such things but it is even a greater sin to teach others to do them. Second, there is a growing, more hostile, reverse intolerance.  Homosexuals can criticize and condemn God's teaching and they are welcomed, but Christians had better remain silent, or else.

J. Matt Barber was a manager in Allstate's Corporate Security Division, in Northbrook, Ill. On his own time, he has written several columns critical of same-sex marriage and the practice of homosexuality.  After Allstate, which financially supports homosexual advocacy groups, received a complaint about the columns, Barber was fired on Feb. 3.

Christian Advocacy groups are urging people to speak out.  A proposed e-mail to Allstate says:

Dear Allstate and Chairman Liddy,

Just a note to let you know I will not be purchasing any insurance from Allstate. You are free to push the homosexual agenda and punish Christians, but I am free to not buy insurance from you.

When you reinstate Matt Barber with an apology and back pay, I might reconsider purchasing insurance from Allstate.
